The High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE) is the latest addition to our high-mobility range of military products. Designed using key innovations found in a number of our consumer products, the JCB HMEE combines speed, versatility and brute strength to answer the call of duty. POWER:
The HMEE is powered by a Cummins QSB 6.7 liter, 6-cylinder turbo diesel. Modified from the same engine found in the JCB Fastrac, the HMEE power plant produces 200 hp at 2,300 rpm and 520 lb ft of torque at 1,300 rpm. And for increased versatility, it can run on diesel or JP-8 jet fuel.
With 2-wheel, 4-wheel and crab steering derived from the JCB 4CX Backhoe Loader, the HMEE can effectively and easily maneuver into position even in the most extreme conditions.
Derived from the JCB Fastrac platform, the HMEE’s semi-active, computer-controlled hydraulic suspension system provides superior stability on and off the road.

World's Fastest Diesel EngineOn August 23, 2006, JCB proved their newly developed diesel engine in the most extreme way – setting the world speed record for a diesel-powered car. The JCB DIESELMAX, the first record-breaking car to be designed entirely by computer, is powered by two JCB444 diesel power plants that took it to a speed of 350.092 mph. AERODYNAMICS:
JCB DIESELMAX occupies a unique place in record-breaking history as the first car designed entirely by computer. Aerodynamics testing was done using computational fluid dynamics as opposed to wind tunnel testing. This allowed for much more accurate readings since scale and compressibility effects could not be simulated in a wind tunnel.
The JCB Dieselmax is powered by two JCB444 common rail injection diesel engines, bored and stroked to 305 cu. in. and dry sumped.
The land speed record engine develops 750 hp (560 KW) at 3800 rpm and 1105 lb. ft (1500 Nm) at 2000 rpm. To minimize the frontal area of the machine, the engines are laid over in the car, inclined at an angle of 10 degrees from the horizontal. For more information visit jcbdieselmax.com.

Working with telematics leader, Qualcomm, we've created JCB LiveLink – an advanced telematics system that helps you better protect your machine and accurately monitor and improve its performance. Combining the latest information communication technology with state-of-the-art satellite navigation technology, LiveLink brings unparalleled control and management to the jobsite.
Using satellite navigation, JCB LiveLink constantly monitors your machine's position and allows you to receive an automatic alert should machines be used either outside a predetermined work zone (Geofence) or outside preset operating hours (Curfew). Of course, in the event of machine theft, the system will help you find it.
HEALTH AND PERFORMANCE:
JCB LiveLink tracks the hours of machine use and monitors machine health and performance while allowing you to set the system to alert your JCB Dealer when a machine is due for major service. And the data generated by the system can be integrated with machine management software to improve the efficiency of your business.
