To test our machines, we come up with some rather unorthodox ways of proving them. From building the world’s fastest diesel-powered car to coordinating the famous Dancing Diggers, we put our technology to the test for the world to see.

	JCB GT Developed as a showpiece of JCB’s advanced engineering and foresight, the JCB GT is a backhoe loader capable of reaching 100 mph. Built with a high-output V8 engine, it can be seen ripping down drag strips around the country.
	JCB Dancing Diggers To demonstrate the versatility and strength of our backhoe loaders, we started our display team – the JCB Dancing Diggers. These backhoes can be seen touring the country and at special JCB events demonstrating the unusual ways our backhoes can support themselves and the maneuverability we’re known for.
	HMEE At JCB, we put our innovative thinking to work for the men and women who serve our country. The High Mobility Engineer Excavator (HMEE) is the latest addition to our high-mobility range of military products. Designed using key innovations found in a number of our consumer products, the JCB HMEE combines speed, versatility and brute strength to answer the call of duty. More information
	Dieselmax On August 23, 2006, JCB proved their newly developed diesel engine in the most extreme way – setting the world speed record for a diesel-powered car. The JCB DIESELMAX, the first record-breaking car to be designed entirely by computer, is powered by two JCB444 diesel power plants that took it to a speed of 350.092 mph. More information
	Dieselmax Engine When we set out to build our first engine we did it the only way know how – by putting our all into it. At our purpose-built, state-of-the-art factory, we worked with some of the world’s leading components and equipment suppliers to ensure our engines use only the most advanced, proven technology available. Then we spent over 100,000 rigorous hours testing it. Once we were certain it’d be bulletproof, we went into mass production. More information
